Angel Wing Pearl Earrings
Slivers of the moon. The rich surface on these American cultured pearls challenges the traditional beauty standards of the perfect pearl. Set in unique 18k cages that accentuate the shape of each stone, no two will ever be exactly alike. Pearls were presented as precious offerings as early as 2300 B.C. They are the only gemstone borne of the sea rather than of the earth. They are the birthstone of June.
Set in cages built to encapsulate each individual unique angle, these angel wing pearls have open backs with posts. The settings are hand-fabricated in recycled 18k yellow gold.

Taking Care
Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.
Diamond Slices
Diamond slices can be particularly delicate, especially in rings; be sure not to put pressure directly on the surface of the stone. Translucent stones with closed backings should not be submerged in water, and should not come into contact with lotions, oils, or creams. Clear diamond slices are especially susceptible to this because of their beautiful translucency and subtle marbling. To clean we recommend a dry, soft toothbrush.
Diamond slices have a hardness of 10.
